Isabella Wildt

I'm a mixed media artist born and raised in Boise, Idaho.

I enjoy creating artwork using a variety of different paints and drawing materials, sometimes combining the materials in a single artwork.

In creating my artwork, I am currently interested in exploring the different textures and techniques possible by working with a variety of materials, I often illustrate things that I appreciate and am intrigued by in my everyday life.

My work is influenced by Impressionist painting from artists such as Claude Monet and Post-Impressionist painting from artists like Vincent Van Gogh, particularly because of their expressive brushwork and use of bright colors. I am also influenced by the intensely-defined portraiture from the Realist painter Lucian Freud.
